Seal Leaky Ducts And Cut Energy Costs

They worked hard to make sure the ducts were sealed and the difference is amazing.They went above and beyond by returning when I noticed an issue with one vent. They discovered building debris left in the ductwork by a previous owner. They removed the debris, resealed everything and the airflow is incredible.

We recently had Green Seal Energy perform Aeroseal duct sealing in our 6-year-old home, and the results were immediately noticeable. The air flow is now balanced between floors, rooms feel more comfortable, and our AC is reaching set points much faster. I originally compared pricing with other competitors, and Green Seal Energy came out ahead. What really made me choose them, though, was Wendell Wolfe—his respectful, professional, and straightforward approach stood out and gave me confidence to move forward. On the day of service, Patrick Martin handled the installation and was excellent from start to finish. He took the extra time to explain the process, answer my questions, and even let me observe closely, which I appreciated as an engineer interested in the technology. Green Seal Energy did a complete duct system sealing with Aeroseal in our 31 year old, 3,100 sq ft, 3 level home. I was skeptical but desperate! We went a different route with insulation with another company last summer to try to remedy the hot upstairs. While I’m sure it helped, it didn’t fix it. Green Seal Energy took time to walk me through the entire process, results they’ve had at other homes like ours, plus what we should expect. I’m thankful to say they were right! The 2 man team spent the entire day meticulously working on our duct system. We now have a sealed return system that is efficiently pulling out the hot air (see the return vents with tissues pics from the main and upper floors). No more frigid basement, comfortable main floor, and hot upstairs! No more running portable AC’s in upstairs bedrooms to make them usable. We now have better temperature regulation and air output between all 3 levels! And this work was about half the cost of last summer’s work! I’ve included a picture of the measurements and numbers from before and after the Aeroseal. I would recommend everything about Green Seal Energy to anyone trying to problem solve a hot upstairs!

Really appreciate the team’s work to seal our ducts. We had a ton of leakage, potentially due to the way basement was refinished before we owned the home. The Grean Seal team was knowledgeable and friendly. Immediately our problem rooms are feeling comfortable as the temperatures are climbing for the summer.

Green Seal Energy is a great local company, knowledgeable on the importance of sealing ductwork. We would recommend them to anyone, as everyone should have their ducts sealed to increase the pressure in their HVAC system, lower energy cost and make for a more comfortable healthier home!

No regrets on getting this done. Prior to having my ducts sealed, my attic/dormer bedroom would regularly be 10-15 degrees hotter than my lowest level during the hottest part of the day. Air sealing has cut that number by at least half depending on the day. My system just runs so much more efficiently. Absolutely worth it. Next move: air sealing the attic which should see even greater efficiency and savings.
